Zebra Blinds

Two layers of fabric with alternating sheer and solid bands slide past each other, so one blind gives you three settings: open daylight, soft filtered light, and privacy. How it works: the fabric is one continuous loop. A small movement slides the front layer across the back layer — when sheer meets sheer, light pours in; slide a little further and the solid bands cover the sheer for privacy. Roll it fully up when you want the window completely clear.

Roller Shades

The cleanest silhouette at the window: a single panel of fabric that rolls up tight and disappears into a slim cassette. Roller shades suit almost any room and any style, and they pair beautifully with drapes or ceiling track curtains layered over top.

How it works: the fabric wraps around a precision tube. One pull, push or tap rolls it down to any height you choose — part-way for glare control, fully down for privacy — and it rolls completely away when you want the full window.

Vertical Blinds

Built for width. Vertical vanes tilt to angle the light exactly where you want it, then glide smoothly to one side so patio doors and wide windows open fully. A practical, durable choice for homes and a long-standing standard for offices and commercial spaces.

How it works: each vane hangs from a carrier on the headrail. Twist to rotate all the vanes together — open for the view, angled to bounce glare away, or closed flat for privacy — then draw the whole stack left, right or split from the centre to open the door or window.

The sheer-panel style: vertical blinds also come as soft sheer panels. Fabric panels attached to a sheer backing read as one flowing drape from across the room, rotate together like vanes for light and privacy, draw to the side like a curtain, and part so you can walk straight through them — a beautiful answer for patio doors and wide glass where ordinary blinds get in the way.

Honeycomb Shades

Cellular pockets trap still air at the window — the most insulating blind we fit. In an Alberta winter that means warmer rooms and less heat lost through the glass; in summer the same cells keep heat out. The soft fabric look suits bedrooms especially well, including blackout cells for shift workers and nurseries.

How it works: the fabric is pleated into hexagonal cells. Lower the shade and the cells open into insulating air pockets against the glass; raise it and the fabric compresses into a slim, neat stack at the top. Top-down / bottom-up models let you lower the top for daylight while the bottom stays covered for privacy.

Ceiling Track Curtains

A slim track fixed to the ceiling lets curtains fall in one clean line from ceiling to floor, making ceilings feel higher and glass walls feel finished. Ceiling track curtains have been part of our work for years — on wide patio glass, corner windows, bay windows and as elegant room dividers in open-plan homes and commercial spaces.

How it works: gliders run inside the ceiling-mounted track, so even a full wall of curtain opens and closes with one smooth pull — or, on a motorized track, with one tap. Long tracks can curve around corners and bays, and curtains stack neatly to one or both sides.
